Engi 6611: Newly developed graduate course for the students specializing in power electronics and high performance variable speed drives.

 

Engi. 0554: Improvement of the course content by introducing in depth analysis of losses in semiconductor switches, effects of source inductance, constant output voltage, constant output current on converter performance and dc motor drives.

 

Engi. 0532: Improvement of the course content by introducing more in the filter design (e.g., Band pass, high pass filters for both IIR and FIR filters). Also developed the lab manuals with some existing and new lab projects.

 

Engi 2236: Improvement of the lab manual by introducing two new experiments in R-L and R-C transient circuits which replaced last two experiments as those were not related to the course content.

  • Application of Intelligent Controllers for ac motor drives (particular interest for inductive motor, interior permanent magnet motor and brushless dc motors).
